bloom where you are planted...

Lots of great things happening with our chandelier creations!!!

HGTV Magazine recently purchased one of our chandeliers ("ANTOINETTE") and we're keeping our fingers and toes crossed that it will appear in the May issue :)
" Antoinette"

We had our very first overseas client... our "CROWN SMOKE" chandelier is on it's way to Hong Kong where it will adorn a new salon that's opening soon!
"Crown Smoke"
Two inquiries from Australia!  We are revamping our shipping options so that we can offer more competitive rates to our clients outside of the United States... of course, we'd really like to hand deliver the pieces ourselves... lol!

Hope all is well in your world, too!

My new favorite quote... "be content and bloom where you are planted!"

Australia! My heart longs for thee :)

Wow! Can't believe it's been over 10 years since I fell in love with Australia! It all started with "Survivor: The Australian Outback"... and my obsession has only grown over the years :)

Survivor: The Australian Outback (also called Survivor: Australia in later seasons) is the second season of the United States reality show Survivor. Filming took place at Goshen Station in northern Queensland during 2000 and aired from January 28, 2001 to May 3, 2001 on CBS. The location used was within a three hour drive of the coastal city of Cairns and located in a wet, tropical area.

Australian paper currency is gorgeous!!!   I know this because I was compelled to buy some from a very friendly tourist who came into the store I was managing (way back when!)  Had those three bills pinned to my bulletin board for inspiration... we WILL visit one day soon!

This post just came about as I glanced over recent blog views from foreign countries... I was tickled pink to see that we have viewers in Perth, AU!  Our one-of-a-kind creations have shipped to clients worldwide... but to realize that we also have readers in far off lands (Australia!!!!) is the icing on the cake!  Thanks so much!

Today, an extra special "hello" to our friends in Perth, AU!   How blessed you are to live in a place my heart longs to visit... sending you positive energy!  Bet you can feel it :)

Paris, France... I long for you...

There are many places I'd like to visit... Australia, Africa, Tuscany... each influenced by a television show, magazine article and movie!  Now, my friends... we must go to Paris!
So this is how it all started...

After seeing "Survivor Outback"... Australia was a must!  I want to interview the Australian Aborigines.  Even before that, like a couple of decades ago, I came across a spread in a magazine about Brooke Shield's African safari... complete with white tents, catered meals, silverware and china... I still long for that kind of adventure!  Then came "Under the Tuscan Sun", a movie that made Tuscany seem so intoxicating!  I want to live amongst the vineyards!  One day soon, we will visit each one of these places and I will write of the experience...  from these words to God's ears... :)

Last week, we watched Woody Allen's latest movie... we will plan a trip to Paris, France (even before those other places I've described)!  If you haven't seen "Midnight in Paris", please make time to watch it.  The cinematography is breathtaking, the all-star cast is divine, the perfect storyline for those of us who are dreamers... and ahhhh! we must not forget the soundtrack... addicting :)
Let me know how you liked the movie... enjoy!
