HGTV Magazine recently purchased one of our chandeliers ("ANTOINETTE") and we're keeping our fingers and toes crossed that it will appear in the May issue :)

We had our very first overseas client... our "CROWN SMOKE" chandelier is on it's way to Hong Kong where it will adorn a new salon that's opening soon!

Upcycled Antique Crystal Chandelier

The rainy weekend allowed us to finish our kitchen chandelier re-vamp!

David found this antique crystal chandelier on his way home from work (when we lived in Brooklyn, NY) and it was covered in dirt.  Fourteen years later, it's been rewired and transformed!

All of the adornments are lead crystal antiques that we've collected over the years... each wired and attached by hand... a one-of-a-kind creation!

Creativity is in full bloom at mendlbarr... just like our "hybrid tea" rose garden planted awhile back...

Seems that lamps are filling most of my days...  assembling, rewiring, painting and then deciding on the absolute perfect lampshade?  We create one-of-a-kind lighting!

Imagine the changes that evolve by simply switching its finial or lampshade... from elegant to beach cottage to artsy... possibilities are endless!   Final touches with embellishments and paint... ooh la la!

Excited to be in the thick of preparing our Christmas table for Dauphin Sales, Inc... "The 6th Annual Deck the Tables & Holiday Tabletop Tour" at the Houston Design Center is a festive occasion for designers to create... this year we will be there :)

We've been planning this for several months already... shopping is almost complete... the antique Italian tole chandelier is getting wired... it's been Christmas in our home for a few weeks with all of the decorations and ideas!

A friend purchased our "i do" earrings for his sister to wear on her wedding day!  We were excited to see the gorgeous pictures and to know that our creations were part of her special day!  Our hometown beaches (Corpus Christi, Texas) were also part of this blessed event.

Wow! Time is flying by so fast! We have been very busy creating new items for our Etsy shop. So many excursions to the wonderful bead shops (in the garment district of Manhattan) to inspire us. We have discovered so many one-of-a-kind stones we had to design with. Colored cubic zirconia stones have also attracted our attention! Take a peek at the new additions to our shop! Our goal was to get to 100 items before November. Looks like we'll get there by next week... better late than never! :)

Pardon the missing details on many of the pieces... thought I'd post at least one photo and then slowly fill in with details and other photo shoots! Stay tuned!
