a rocking chair for everyone...

Painted in Valspar's Secluded Garden, this calming beauty is awaiting the arrival of a baby boy... it sits in the wonderful nursery of the "first-time" parents!  :)

This amazing 1800s rocking chair was revamped in deep turquoise! What an improvement from the dreary black it wore for almost 200 years?   It's condition was bleak... couldn't even sit on it because of the loose spindles... he now greets with a smile...

Our cheerful, bright yellow rocker is the "happy place" for a neighborhood daycare...  another save... amazing what a little TLC can do...

And sometimes you just might want to leave it a warm natural brown... sitting by the fireplace to comfort you...

Antique Pedestal and Gateleg Tables... mendlbarr style...

So many antique beauties have come and gone in the past couple of years... each were given the TLC they needed to not only continue being useful but to fit in with today's tastes...

I'd like to think our "green" footprint is small because of the pieces we've saved from the landfill... they spend a bit of time with us for their makeover and then off to their forever homes...

wish we could keep them all but we're trying our hardest to fight the "hoarding" tendencies!
So... which one do you think we kept for our kitchen area?  At least for now...
